Groups: Overview of Features

The Groups feature allows users to manage members, enroll learners in activities, track course progress, and communicate within a structured environment. This guide will help you navigate the enhancements to Cox Campus Groups and understand key functionalities and updates.

Accessing the Groups Dashboard

1. Navigate to My Learning and select Group Dashboard to view available groups.

2. Use the dropdown menu to scroll through your enrolled groups

3. Select a group to enter its dashboard.

The dashboard provides an overview of members, activities, tasks, discussions, reporting, action plans, and support.

 Viewing & Managing Members

Click the Members tab to see a list of group participants. You can view the course completion status, last login, and connection type.
Use the Manage menu to:

• Enroll Members in activities.

• View Member Transcripts for progress tracking.

• Send Messages directly to members.

• Remove a member or group leader from the group.

   

Assigning and Tracking Activities 

The Insights tab lists lessons, courses, action plans, and assessments available in the group.

• Filter the view by selecting Type or Course Category. 

• Click on Action to View Learners and to see participant progress.

• Enroll learners in new courses by selecting Enroll Members.

Checking Course Completion & Progress

• Click the Action button, then select Learner Progress to open a Completion Overview.
• The overview displays learner names, statuses (Incomplete/Complete), progress bars, scores, and more.

• Use this data to track course completions and to monitor progress as the due date approaches

  Note: Only enrolled course members are displayed in the list. 

Sending Messages to Group Members

• The Message feature allows direct communication with members.
• Navigate to the Members Tab and select a member.
• Click the Manage button and select Message to open the email window.
• Write your message and click Send Email.

Enrolling Members in New Activities

• Go to the Members tab, click the Manage button, and select Enroll to add learners to new activities.
• A Search Activities window will appear, allowing you to browse available lessons and courses.
• Click Enroll next to the desired activity.
